   VISA APPLICATION TIPS

  • We strongly advise participants to personally check entry and visa requirements before making travel arrangements at least 3 months ahead of time, as there might be country-specific conditions that you are not aware of. For most accurate information please contact the embassy/consulate of the country where the conference will be held, in your home country.

  • If some participants need another type of visa that does require an invitation letter, the ICCCBDA 2022 local arrangement committee will be glad to help. To obtain an invitation letter, please send e-mail to icccbda@young.ac.cn , together with your registration, and in the case of being an author, your accepted paper ID. For most attendees, it is easier to apply for a Tourist ("L") visa; an invitation letter is NOT required for obtaining a Tourist visa.

  • Note: ICCCBDA will NOT issue any Letter of Sponsorship or Letter of Guarantee if you are required to do so by the immigration department. It is the participants’ sole responsibility to obtain such documents.
    ICCCBDA will not refund anyone for cancellations due to visa rejections or participant’s inability to enter the country.
    ICCCBDA cannot change the decision of the any country’s embassy/consulate or any other government departments, nor will ICCCBDA appeal to the embassy/consulate on behalf of the applicant.
    All questions/concerns regarding the status of your visa should be directed to the embassy/consulate of the country where the conference will be held, in your home country.
    In no event will ICCCBDA be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the information provided on this page.


  • Necessary materials to apply for Chinese Visa

    · For more information, please contact the local Chinese Embassy in your country.
    · A passport which is valid for at least six months following the date of submission, with an entire blank page available for the visa;
    · One Visa Application Form of the Peoples Republic of China, which is filled clearly with true, authentic and complete information and signed by the applicant;
    · One recent, 2 inch full-faced and bareheaded passport photo (the daily life photo, photo copy or digital photo printed on the ordinary paper shall not be accepted);
    · Other related application materials according to different purposes for your trip to China;
    · Other materials related to the visa application, deemed as necessary by the visa officer.

    Alternatively, participants may ask their travel agents to arrange their travel to China and obtain a tourist visa irrespective of whether or not they have registered with the Conference Secretariat. If participants have any difficulties in obtaining their visa, they should contact the Conference Secretariat

 

Invitation Letter of ICCCBDA 2022

对于需要会议接收函或者邀请信，以便于给学校请假的中国作者， 请联系ICCCBDA 2022 会议秘书。

1. The invitation letter will be issued after the successful registration.

2. Your name must be listed exactly as it appears on your passport. Any differences between the name on your passport and the name on your invitation letter or other documentation could lead to a delay and/or denial of your visa.

3. Please note ICCCBDA Conferences and the organizing committee of the conference are not authorized to assist with the VISA process beyond providing the Notification of Invitation Letter issued by ICCCBDA Conferences and conference Committee Board. Should your application be denied, ICCCBDA Conferences and the organizing committee of the conference cannot change the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor will ICCCBDA Conferences and the organizing committee of the conference engage in discussion or correspondence with the MOFA or the Embassy on behalf of the applicant. The registration fee cannot be refunded when the VISA application of individual being denied.

4. It takes around one month for the Embassy to process the VISA application, please register as early as you can to make sure you have enough time.
